A one-day event to reflect and explore the future of welcoming cities in Europe, starting from the familiar, urgent question: How can welcoming societies provide an adequate response to the migrant crisis?

On December 16, #Cities4All – hosted by CILD and Humans on the Move, with the support of the City of Milan – will bring together civil society, EU and local government officials, media outlets, journalists, philanthropists, activists, entrepreneurs, investors and, most importantly, migrants and refugees, with the aim of finding innovative answers to the humanitarian emergency.

The event will focus on cities and on the new challenges that they have to face when welcoming new residents, but also on the precious opportunities that this situation creates.

Three months after the UN Summit for Refugees and Migrants, there is still a need to focus on innovative projects that can create a sustainable context for people on the move. There is also a growing interest in investing in such solutions, both within the public as well as the private sector.

Come join us for the day as we share and discuss ideas on how cities can build a new paradigm for integration! This is only the beginning: other meetings will follow and with them concrete proposals for action.
